The Boathouse did look very nice. I wish I didn't eat at EoS, I could have tried the plank steak.
I had an ADR for Raglan Rd, but made an unscheduled trip to DTD a day early. So I cancelled Raglan Rd. I couldn't see wasting more time with another trip to DTD.
I wonder if you can eat in the boat
Here is the ridiculously priced car boats that you don't even drive yourself. They look cool but...pass.

Thanks for all the awesome Star Wars weekend pictures! I am NOT a Star Wars fan so I doubt I'll ever make it a priority, but it is cool to see everything with out having to go

I finally got my husband to look through these posts-your Star Wars pictures pulled him right in! He loves Disney, but the internet is not his favorite. We had fun paging through your posts. Thanks! Now can you post some shots of you dusting and doing laundry, that might work too.

Absolutely wonderful photos Colonel! I really like the night shots of the lighthouse. And the dragon... excellent!. 
I must also say that I like how you include the audience in a lot of your fireworks shots. It is such a great effect to see all the people lit up by the show they are watching.
Really enjoying your photos.

As for the fireworks shots, not much choice involved. Once they start, you're pretty much locked in. I do have plans for next time though.

The second floor of the train station offers an incredible view of the Festival of Fantasy Parade. It is almost a bird's eye view and pictures taken from that vantage point are amazing. Thanks for sharing Colonel!!

I booked the Park Vue Inn in Anaheim for September just based on location and some reviews I read. I was so happy to see that Disney Tourist Blog just made it their number one place to say off-site at Disneyland. Psyched!

Colonel, I was there for a Star Wars weekend too - so sorry I spaced out that you were there too! I attended all 3 of the special events held in the theater where they have Beauty and the Beast. The sessions were all so entertaining and I too am not Star Wars obsessed. I loved the parade, and the fireworks to Star Wars music was awesome! Went back to see them a second time.
Very fun stuff and surprisingly not too crowded - I was there for one of the earlier weekends though.
