I agree wholeheartedly. Actually once I park my car in the parking lot it is official.

We have tickets to mvmcp and are there for 5 days. Therefore our trip is Epcot for 1/2 a day, Day 2 AK in the am, MVMCP at 4 pm, hotel tour in the am the next day, HS in the afternoon, Mk the next day and and Sanaa for dinner, finally a full day at Epcot and done. If I am going on a short trip, the hopper is needed if not then I'm going to not spend the money.

I am going to Disney in March, here are 5 new things that I would like to try:

1. See the rope drop at Magic Kingdom

2. Eat at Be Our Guest Restuarant - I was unable to get a dinner reservation, but we will be having lunch here on one of our first days at Magic Kingdom.

3. Eat at Le Cellier - I've never been able to eat here on any of our trips, so I will make it a priority this time!

4. Drink around the world at Epcot and do the Monorail "Pub Crawl" - Looking forward to trying a Lapu Lapu at the Polynesian and margaritas at Le Cava del Tequila. Beer

5. Bowl at Splitsville

I would also love to do another behind the scenes tour, on our last trip we did the Epcot Segway tour and had so much fun!

June Trip

1) In a Disney Wedding
2) Staying at the Wilderness Lodge Villas
3) Driving Down! (Does that one count?)
4) Dinner at Tutto Gusto Wine Bar
5) Possibly Dinner at Artists Point (haven't mad an ADR here yet though, still thinking about it)

I feel like I need to toss more "new" things in here, like I'm not being adventurous enough. However I won't have much spare time. Does anyone have any "quick" ideas for Magic Kingdom, Epcot or the MK Resorts?

Great thread. Sure makes you think about things you have...and haven't...done. Here's my top 5...

1. Visit Ft Wilderness (have never been there)
2. Take a Keys to the Kingdom tour (always wanted to do this - never had time)
3. Hit the Tequila Bar (love good tequila)
4. A round of golf (gotta see the Mickey sand traps)
5. Romantic carriage ride at Port Orleans (because that's the kinda guy I am)

I'm sure we'll have lots of new things to try this trip because it's my fiance (who will at that time be my husband!)'s first trip! So here's my 5...

1. Stay on-property for the first time (POR).
2. ADR at Be Our Guest!
3. Princess dining at Akershus.
4. First Disney Cruise (and first cruise ever for me!).
5. ADR at Mama Melrose's with the Fantasmic! package.

Lets see this will be kinda hard since I've done a lot.

1. I've meaning to go to Blizzard Beach since I haven't been there yet
2. Cirque Du Soleil- La Nouba
3. Le Celliar (I have reservations in January)
4. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party
5. Watch Wishes from the Poly Beach with a dole whip in hand

So that wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.

Wishes from Poly beach w/ dole whip is THE BEST!! It's a must do for us every trip. I took some coworkers to the world when we were in town for a conference over the summer and after fighting two hours of metro DC rush hour traffic to catch our 8am flight, driving them straight to MK and running them all over the park all day, they all agreed that wishes on the beach was the best part of the day. I hope you have a wonderful time!!

Thanks. It may have to wait because they are starting construction soon at Poly for DVC villas. Mrhub mentioned that they may get stricter about who uses the beach during that time.

I have a bunch on my bucket list but for me, my top 5 must try new things are:

1. Ride the Haunted Mansion (I've never actually ridden it! I haven't had the time to do so. For some strange reason, the long lines turn me off even though I've been told the wait times aren't that long....)
2. See Off Kilter (Everyone seems to love them and after listening to their music, I couldn't believe that I've missed out on them on my past trips! Next trip, I have to see a full show!)
3. Stay at the AKL (I just want to be there to experience everything. Sanna, Boma, hopefully get a savannah view room...)
4. Try Tonga Toast! (The number one food on my Disney World bucket list!)
5. See Fantasmic (Again, I've never seen it before and I never had the time but I really want to!)

For my next little short trip my firsts will be:

1. Candlelight Processional Dinner Package
2. Brown Derby's new outdoor dining/drinking area
3. Food Trucks at DTD
4. Seeing GF X-mas decorations
5. Renewing my 25 year marriage vows

5a. Magic bands

BTW I keep hearing that this is the last year for Osbourne Lights. I hope it's not true, but if it is, I'm glad I'll get to see it one more time.

1. Play a round of golf at one of the many golf courses.
2. Eat at Jiko (has always smelled great but we never ate there. It has great reviews.)
3. EPCOT Dive Quest
4. Character Breakfast
5. Go for a jog and watch the sun rise on one of the lakes. (I love running and try to run almost everyday. I think it would be amazing to go for a leisurely pace and see the sun rise over the happiest place on earth.)
