Turning Your House Into A Disney Xmas Grotto..

Sorry folks..But it's coming to my favourite time of year...So you better watch out,you better not cry..You know the rest...Here's the thing..Last year I went a little overboard with my Disney Xmas decorations, outside and inside..So this year my good lady has told me to calm it down..( Just a little ) So our tree will have the usual Disney decorations on it.We buy something new each year from the Christmas shop, usually the downtown one..Tink will sit proudly on top, and others hang from the branches..My favourite is our Monorail including the small figurines inside the cabins..We have a few young families in the neighbourhood who visit our house..( due to all the Disney stuff on our windows ) Of course me being a mad old fool, I tell them stories of how I've met Santa at Disney World, and helped out seeing who's naughty or nice...( I feel sorry for my DW, she has to put up with my shenanigans ) Anyway, is there anyone else who does their house up in Disney fashion for Christmas..Here's my Monorail in action..Sorry..it's happened again..click on photo to turn it the right way up.???

Oh Merry Christmas already!! I don't put up any decorations until Dec. I stay at home, so I am tired of it by Christmas if it goes up early.
I like your tree! Not showing my DH! He had wanted that monorail for years! wink
We have a bit of Disney all over the house at Christmas! From ornaments to mugs to stockings! I will try to dig up a picture somewhere!

Mittens, I take it your using an apple product to take your photos correct. Uploading them directly will always do that if your not holding your apple product the certain way. If it happens to me, once I post the picture I save it from the forum, rotate it and post it again in the right format. Works everytime.

Oh my goodness - is that your tree for this year Mittens?!

We don't usually get our tree up until the last weekend in November. I know, I know, that's coming up soon. I'm running so behind on everything this year! Our basement flooded (just a little) a month ago and I think I saved the Christmas boxes, but I'm not 100% sure. I still need to open one big shipping trunk that I've been ignoring. I keep hoping that my kids will volunteer but that hasn't happened so far.

I normally do mine the weekend after Thanksgiving too, but this year, with Thanksgiving coming so late in the month, we're doing it this weekend. I don't have a "Disney" theme, but I have several Disney ornaments, figures, decorations and a clock shop that is about 35 years old. It's my favorite.
