VIP and Other Premium Options

Looks like Disney is considering making some significant changes. I would LOVE a few of these, like the 10-year 'club'.

I like the character nights, but I'm more excited about the snacks and short wait times over the actual characters! Laughing out loud

Wow. I wonder if any of these are going to come to pass? I think the All-inclusive resort is kind of silly, but a good money-making tactic for Disney. They know people don't stay at the hotels for most of the day.

The pricing on the unlimited FastPass things seems questionable. $150 is too much per day and too little per trip.

I actually can't say that any of those options jump up and slap me in the face with their awesomeness...the ones that are cool are way to expensive and the rest just don't really interest me.

They kind of seem like options for people who assume that if they spent more money on their vacation they must have had a better time. We're pretty "high maintenance" and I don't mind paying for "special treatment," but none of those seem to have a reasonable cost-benefit analysis.

Maybe it's just me, but I think saving 50-70% (at least 50% at today's prices, significantly more as prices increase after the purchase) on park tickets is pretty darn significant. Granted it's a sizable investment up front, but if you know you're going to go at least once a year for the foreseeable future it seems like a winner to me.

None of them excited us either Brad. If you go once per year for 7 days then maybe the 10 year deal. But if you go more often I would think the annual pass would still be cheaper. Wonder what they would do for those who like to go once a year but stay more than 7 days?

Definitely the most attraction option for us as well awesome

I feel like the unlimited fast pass is kind of problematic. If I'm there during a period when unlimited fast pass would be needed, it's too crowded for me!

You'll know when they're done by the 0 in your bank account balance. laugh

More seriously though I do sometimes feel like we're in a weird donut hole. We go often enough that they don't target us with promotions to get us there, but we aren't crazy rich so they don't make special programs for us.
