Wait times on My Disney Experience App

I was curious how accurate are they? Nothing like getting to a ride and find out the wait time is totally different.

The ones I have checked to the app since we've been here have been exactly the same as what is listed for stand by. But I've only looked at a couple.

Every one that we went up to in six days were accurate, except one. It changed as soon as we were walking up from 20 minutes to 25 minutes. We also ended up getting handed the wait time check card thing 5-6 times while we were there so I think they keep up with it pretty well.

The wait times on the MDX app (My Disney Experience) are updated when the time on the front of the attraction are updated. It's not the other apps where the general public has to put in the times because someone could put in the wrong time. The time posted could also be either shorter or longer depending on when the flip card (red timing card) is put through. Sometimes they are lazy or forgetful and don't send it through when they should. They can change the time manually without the card.

I have found them to be pretty spot on. Maybe a 5 minute difference at the most.

I've sometimes found the posted ride times to be off by 10 minutes or more, but always in my favor, so I can say that it was a problem!!

Thanks everyone! I don't mind of it were 5-10 or so off, but if there was a huge discrepancy.........
Glad to hear they are pretty accurate! I can't wait to go!!!!!!!!
