Walt Disney World for Grown-ups Connectivity PSA

Hello, loyal WDWForGrownups readers!

As some of you have noticed, we are currently experiencing growing pains I could go into long and boring technical details, but the short explanation is that, with our growing popularity, we have outgrown the server that hosts our website. This means that some readers have experienced timeouts, extended loading time, "site offline" messages, and double posts on the forum.

Please know that we are aware of the service problems, and are working hard to get the situation fixed. However, due to technical reasons (and the fact that we want to do things right) it could take few weeks for us to move to a new server. Until that happens, we ask for your patience and understanding. We *are* working to get this problem fixed, and are very sorry for the inconvenience that this is causing.

In the mean time, please accept our apologies. We hope to be back up and running fully soon.

Thanks so much for letting us know. I posted a query on the facebook page last week about the site hanging - I didn't think it was a problem at my end, but wasn't entirely sure. It's easier to be patient if you know things are happening behind the scenes.

Thanks for the info Kristen. I figured something was going on server related. Good to know it's being looked at.

Hey, let's call it a refurb! I can picture virtual Disney construction walls and knowing there's good stuff going on behind those walls. mickey
