Wanyama Safari at AKL

I have read a couple of the reviews other members have posted in the past about this safari. Looks pretty amazing. Has anyone done it recently? Has it changed much? What is the price? It says over $60 per person but what are we talking???

We currently have Cali Grill booked for Joe's birthday dinner but I think this would be more fun. AND we did Cali Grill for my b-day.

Should I force 10 others on him for his birthday? I was thinking of booking it as a surprise...

It is more than $100 per person from what I remember, and of course, it includes a family-style dinner at Jiko afterwards.

Unless there are newer reports that I've missed, I don't think it has changed much since the last time we were on it.

All ears had a nice review of the safari on their you tube channel which they reviewed in the last couple months. Hope that helps.

Yours was one of the ones I peeked at. I really want to try this. I broke down and told Joe about it, he said it would be more fun with Blondie but I don't think she would enjoy the dinner and ALL the adults LOL.

We really enjoyed it - and our safari wasn't full, I don't think. No one seemed to mind being a a group became of the truly interesting and up close experience with the animals. The dinner was great - but we LOVE Jiko. A couple people in our group were a bit grumpy about the food (seriously??) Who gets grumpy over grilled beef tenderloin, Mac and cheese, the terrific cinnamon spiced roll up appetizers, wine, and Creme brulle for dessert?

So. . . We really had a great time and a giraffe put its head down into the truck to check us all out!
