Watching Pandora

I'm watching Pandora for the first time. I know that the movie has been on and I've been doing stuff in the same room, but I don't think that I have ever actually watched it before. I don't really have a desire to watch it, but since we're going to Animal Kingdom I should have some vague idea of the world I'll be walking into. laugh

Anyone else do this?

We watched it for the first time last year. We had never seen it either - it was pretty predictable, but we enjoyed the movie. It did help us understand what we were seeing at AK.

I still have not seen the movie. I don't really feel like you have to to appreciate being there. Even though I love Pandora I am still pretty sure I could not sit through the movie.

I am so bored with this movie. We're currently watching the big battle scene and while it's been on I've done dishes, made a grocery list, packed my camera bag. I turned to Tori and commented that I really hope I like the land more than the movie because I am BORED.

Haha! I can not say I would disagree. mickey

I don't think you would miss much having not seen the movie before hand. I think the queue explains things pretty well in terms of FoP and I am sure there are plenty who have never seen the movie and still.enjoy and understand AvatarLand.

Truth be told, I never saw any of the Cars movies but loved Radiator Springs Smile. Probably not a like comparison but I think Disney tries to take that into account to some degree.

While we were in Pandora for the first time, I thought that we should watch the movie so next time maybe the land would have more meaning. Then we rode the river ride and came upon the big blue dude singing in some weird language and thought, no thanks laugh

While I found the land beautiful, we really don't venture over there. Too crowded for me and I'm just not into Pandora.

I watched it when Disney announced they were opening Avatar land. Two hours of my life I will never get back.

I did really enjoy Pandora at DAK, and totally didn't need to watch the movie to have had fun. If anything, I think going to Pandora made me like the movie even more.
