We Won! We Won! Mickey's Not So Scary Soiree, Here We Come!!

So I was noodling around on the Disney Parks blog the other day and saw a contest for free tickets to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and also tickets to the Villains Dessert Soiree to boot. I typed in 4 or 5 different e-mails to enter and then forgot about it because I never win anything.

I walk in from work today and The Spouse asked me to look at the impressive Spam e-mail he got that was supposedly from Disney. Turns out he won 2 tickets for this Sunday! Woo Hoo!! (Of course he was irritated because I hadn't even told him he was entered, but he got over it fast). So some quick and clever rescheduling, and we're off to experience our first Halloween Party at MK!

Now our only dilemma is whether or not we stay over in Kissimmee or drive the 2 hours back after our midnight villains dessert shindig. (since my usual bedtime is about 10pm, I'm thinking we should stay over).

Sorry for the gloating, but I'm a little psyched!

That is soooo exciting!
Just 10 minutes ago I booked a hidden hotel on Priceline for next weekend. They have a couple of good 4 star hotels in the Kissimmee and Celebration areas that were quite cheap for our weekend. If you find one cheap enough it may be the deciding factor to stay the night! The 4star and 5star hotels are pretty easy to figure out if you know the area well, which I'm sure you do.

Thanks, Annie! We decided that proximity should win out that late in the evening - we booked a parking-lot-view room at WL for the night (just couldn't bring myself to spring for GF or Contemporary for just sleeping).

Great choice deciding to stay overnight and to staying on site!
