I always say - the only thing missing from vegan food to make it taste better is bacon...

And it isn't "chicken" it is "chick'n". Kind of like cheez or krab - it ain't real...

The "chicken" will be made out of either soy or tvp (texturized vegetable protien). My guess is that it's made out of tvp which can definitely have the taste and texture of actual meat. Anyway with all the seasoning you probably wouldn't taste the chicken much even if it was made with actual chicken.

I personally like gardein chick'n but as some who hasn't eaten meat in twenty years I think it taste like chicken. My husband on the other hand who would die without his daily intake of meat thinks it doesn't even come close to looking or tasting like chicken.

I'm a meat eater but I tried the Trick'n Chick'n Curry at the Terra booth in 2012 and it was delicious! The texture was a little off to be chicken but it tasted really good.

I have my suspicious eyes on. . . Stare Chick'n that isn't chicken but tastes like chicken. . .

Sort of like being told that carob tastes like chocolate? Stare

Gee that sounds so tasty can't get me enough of that beetroot fibre and pea protein!

Seriously though TVP is OK stuff but it's what you do to it that makes the difference, I have cooked with it but even though it tasted like meat it didn't have the right texture and never does.
