What are your thoughts on New Fantasyland ?

Now that the new sections of Fantasyland have been open for awhile at more of our members have been able to see and experience this fun themed section of the parks - What are your thoughts?

Do you like the New Fantasyland? Are the attractions in it worthwhile? Do you feel like it's added something to the Magic Kingdom that was missing before?

I LOVE the New Fantasyland section of the park! While I haven't gotten to experience Be Our Guest or the Mine Ride (obviously), I love the intimate character interactions in Ariel's Grotto and Storytime with Belle. It really lets kids feel a part of the magic more so then any other part of Magic Kingdom that I can think of. I also adore the design of the entire area, it's so whimsical and exactly what I would expect at Disney. The new queuing experience on Dumbo is another excellent idea. We were able to walk right on to Dumbo when we were there for EMH, but I would be interested to hear how smoothly (or not) this system works when it is busier.

I will let you know in a couple of weeks! I am so, so, so excited to see New Fantasyland, though I am disappointed the Mine Ride is not ready yet : ( Didn't they know I was coming?!?

Sadly, we were only able to look at it from outside during our trip last October. It looked awesome, and I kept hoping we'd come back and find they were letting people in, but no luck. Very much looking forward to finally touring in November.

The circus area was open and was a lot of fun. We didn't ride anything, but I like the theming.

Never went pre-New Fantasyland, but I loved it when I was there in February!! I didn't do Enchanted Tales, or visit Ariel (the wait was stupid long even though she's my FAVORITE), so I'm not sure about the experience there. And I didn't eat in Be Our Guest, BUT, the theme of it all was just so, so beautiful. Seeing Beast's castle off in the distance was gorgeous, and I loved everything about the Little Mermaid ride.

We also walked through Storybook Circus very quickly and that seemed well themed, but we didn't do anything over there. I just can't wait for the Mine Train ride to open, as I'm sure everything will be much better without the construction walls, plus I'm betting it'll be an amazing ride.

I love New Fantasyland. I was very lucky to experience the Enchanted Forest during a dress rehearsal in November. I can't wait to eat at Be Our Guest this year.

I absolutely love the new Fantasyland. We've been fortunate enough to have eaten at Be Our Guest last year during Christmas. It is just a very magical place and can't wait to go back and experience it again in Jan 14. I hope the mine train is up and running then!

I love it. I think it's far more recognizable to kids today and what they've seen as "Disney", which will keep them hooked.

We got to do it during a dress rehearsal in October. I feel we were super lucky to get to experience it then when we were able to walk right in vs. now when I'm sure the lines are just insane!

I am lucky enough to be able to say that i've been to the new fantasyland twice and also eaten at BOG and I love it all. I think Disney did such a great job with it as usual.

I think its pretty sweet to be honest... BUT..........

I wish they would had opened it ALL at the same time. With the Minecart ride still being built... I think it looses its magic a bit. Thats just me though. Plus I think they could had finished the ride much quicker if that area was closed, but I understand why they opened it up though.

I agree with you Mase about opening it all at once. They opened a little at a time and the continuing construction does take away some of the magic. It's unavoidable to have the construction obstacles around and makes it seem more crowded. I do love the finished parts though. We're planning on eating at BOG in Sept. for the DDs 17th birthday. Although I have heard mixed reviews about the food, we took tours before it was open and are looking forward to the atmosphere.
