What if (edition 14).....

What if you could only see one night time show for the rest of your trips to disney...Which would it be? Wishes, Illuminations, or Fantasmic?

ooh tough choice for me between Illuminations (fire AND world showcase) and Fantasmic (seats and that music!)...

hmmmm

I think I'll go Illuminations because of the atmosphere of World Showcase. Fireworks dont really do it for me, and Fantasmic at DL is better (IMO)

Wishes or Fantasmic. But I'm going to go with Fantasmic. I love it so much! I was singing the music earlier today!

My choice has to be Illuminations with Wishes a close second.

Hmm...I think I'll go just opposite of Vettelover, and say Wishes with a slight edge of Illuminations. Wishes is so "Disney." And I still haven't seen Fantastmic Smile

I would have to pick Wishes followed by Illuminations and then Fantasmic. I love them all though.

I love IllumiNations strictly because I love the World Showcase.

Jess - no worries! I've seen Wishes a time or two, but I've never seen Fantasmic, and I only saw Illuminations in February for the first time, even though I worked at WDW for 2 years and I've been an AP holder and FL resident for ages! It can be hard, especially with little kids that need to get in bed. Make a goal to see one of them this next trip. If it's any encouragement, leaving the parks with the large throng of people (one of the things that discouraged me for a long time) wasn't nearly as bad as I expected.

I know the reason why I personally havent done say Wishes is that I hate crowds. If it gets tight, its like being trapped in a box for me. Claustrophobia up the ying yang. But this year we will probably do it. Just waiting for Brooklin to be able to enjoy it.

I do them all, I can't call it a full day unless I am watching all the gorgeous-ness. Lizzy would you like to come to Fantasmic this Sept?
You bring the drinkie-poos and I'll hold the seats

Mase , save up and do the wishes cruise, no worries about Claustrophobia there. Its great, but it is totally different then standing under the Castle and feeling the "Boom" of the fireworks. When your standing there , you can feel the excitment in the air.

A cruise is definitely in the future but probably wont happen till at least our daughter is much older. Our son wants to go on one, but I want Brooke to be at least 8-10 if we go on one with them. Plus... were trying to understand the DVC points for it... lol... its confusing!

Now I see what ya mean. And yeah... that is pretty expensive... will have to work on that for maybe a year or so down the road. Brooke will definitely need to be older for that... lol.

It depends....this summer we got the very first table at the balcony for wishes dessert party and it was by far the most amazing time I had at Disney. Chocolate, music, a castle, and a perfect unobstructed view....so if that was a definite seat again I would say Wishes. If I couldn't have that magically happen again, I would pick Illuminations because it's my favorite of the three.

They have something similar for Illuminations, but it's only for people who are having events, right? I wonder if they've considered just making a ticketed one for Illuminations too.
