What Minor Holiday Would You Like to Spend at WDW?

And by minor holiday, I mean Valentine's, St. Patrick's Day, Cinco de Mayo, July 4...not minor in that they're unimportant, but rather, they aren't big WDW milestone holidays, like Halloween (which I consider to be minor, but I know it has widespread appeal) or Christmas.

Just wondering, because it seems like the parks always have some great holiday stuff going on. Even Mother's Day seems to have special events.

So - green beer for St. Pat's, margaritas for May 5, or something else altogether?

Well, we'll be there for my birthday, but I do believe that falls into the major holiday category...

Soooo...probably Cinco de Mayo. More so because it's a good time to be there weather-wie and crowd wise in our experiences.

I think the proper response is ALL of them but for us the proper one is Labor day because it seems to signal the start of the slower season what with kids going back to school. clapping

Yes! I was going to pick something else, but your reasoning won me over!

July 4th has pretty bad crowds for the fireworks, doesn't it?

Is Labor Day a good time to go? I'll be there over labor day and I've heard VERY mixed reviews, ranging from AVOID AT ALL COST to descriptions of tumbleweed rolling past Space Mountain...

I doubt it will be tumbleweeds, but I think we were there once and it wasn't as bad as we expected. I'll have to ask DW, since my memory is terrible.

I'm not sure there's anything worse than June-August (except maybe Christmas) so you'll probably be pleasantly surprised!

I could see myself spending Fathers Day at the World with my family. When my kids where small we used to spend every Fathers Day at Sesame Place.
