Why would I go anywhere else other than WDW?
I wish I made the decisions! I would Disney for a week over a week long cruise all-day everyday.

Between 2009,2010 and2011 we have spent 30 days in the parks. So we are taking 3 of our 10 days this year to check out US, IOA and Seaworld. I haven't been to any of those in over 20 years, so it will be all new to me. Especially since I can't remember what I did last week none the less 20 years ago. 
We try to go to the Great Smoky Mountains for Christmas every year. I wish I lived in Gatlinburg or Maryville then I'd just plan my trip to DW.

Yes most definitely bring your passport. At least I think you need it to cross over, and the Canadian side is in my opinion much nicer in every which way.
Yes you do need your passport to cross into Canada.
My passport will be happy to come out of hiding. I've been neglecting it the last couple of years. lol
