What was your favorite resort room?

I've been lucky enough to have a lot of great rooms and views at Disney, but staying at the Beach Club Villas with a view of Epcot's World Showcase was probably one of my favorites.

We could watch a lot of Illuminations each night (probably my favorite show), and we had a quick walk to Epcot, DHS, and the Boardwalk. Plus, having Beaches and Cream and Stormalong Bay wasn't bad at all!

I once had an incredible room at POR. We were in building 14 in Alligator Bayou, very close to the bus stop, food court, and quiet pool. I wish I could remember the number because I think it was the best room in the house!

I really liked the alligator bayou decor, too, but the swamps outside were a bit strange...

The Contemporary room this past February was definitely the biggest and most luxurious, and it had an amazing view of the Magic Kingdom.

But I think I like the AKL view a bit better (don't tell DH!!!)

I am always torn between Animal Kingdom Lodge and Wilderness Loge rooms. They have the most character. Although once we stayed at the Boardwalk and got an AMAZING room with a king bed, right in the corner of the courtyard where you could see everything, but noone could see in your room.

We're big fans of the corner rooms. They seem larger than the others.

We once got a fantastic WL room that had a really stunning sunset view. Not an expensive view at all, either!

I think it's interesting how many great memories people come away from WDW with that were pretty much "at no cost" biggrin
