I don't know if we have talked about this here before, tried looking for the thread but couldn't find one.
If you could take Walt to Disney World today what would you show him?
I would show him the Carousel of Progress since he over saw it for the 1964 world's fair and I would also show him Epcot since that ended up different then he wanted it to.
I think I would just wander the parks with him so he could see that 58 years after opening Disneyland his dream & vision of creating a place where adults & children could come to have fun together & be happy had happened & was still going strong.
That's a tough question. I think I would want to show him areas where I feel management is failing so that I could really find out what Walt would do.

I agree with you.
Everything.

I agree with you too.
I think the other thing I would show him before showing him all the disappointments is how I still cry going through the arches. seeing Main street and how I cry when I see Mickey Mouse for the first time every trip. I think he would like that a lot.
I don't know what I'd show him, but I'd ask to borrow HIS version of the Keys to the Kingdom card and see what it's like to literally have the Keys to the Kingdom with nothing off limits!
I'd like to show him the new Beast's castle and BOG, and the Laugh Floor and Turtle Talk with Crush shows that utilize that cool thing where the animated character is interacting live with the audience. How DOOOO they do that?
I also like to show him Animal Kingdom, especially the Safari. I just think Walt would love that park.
I would just like to walk down Main Street with Walt, before the park was open and talk, then sit on is bench and let him watch as Disney World comes to life and tell him "Thank you for all of this!" .
I think I'd like to ride Soarin & Test Track with him. I think he'd be amazed by how far the rides have come since Disneyland first opened....Oh and then we'd pop over for a quick ride on Toy Story Mania and then to MK for a dole whip and a conversation about how closely WDW matches (or exceeded) his vision.
It would be interesting to see what he would think of Epcot since it really wasn't what he had in mind at all.
Like others this is quit a hard question to answer. I guess showing him the like of ToyStory Mania, Turtle Talk, the Laughter Floor and Soarin' would probably be the first things I'd do, but after that I'd sit him on a bench and we'd watch all the people enjoying what he'd created. Seeing families, kids and even us 'grown ups' enjoying the parks. Just seeing how people connect and bond over the little things and how in his 'house' we're all better people.
That, or just a 'high 5' over a root beer float !!!!!!!
