Dole Whip float!! Although I'm also looking forward to eating at BOG. I've already picked out what I'm going to order, when I go on OCTOBER 6!!! Nothing like planning ahead!! biggrin Oh! And the jalapeno stuffed pretzels at Animal Kingdom, along with a delightful African beer.

I have to ask: what's the fascination with Earl of Sandwich? We walked in, but the menu looked much like what you'd get at Panera. What am I missing?? Please, let me in on the secret!! I love food and don't want to miss out on something really yummy!!!

I really love Panera, but Earl of Sandwich is out of this world. I adore sandwiches, and it's by far the best I've eaten. Nothing really different or unique, but I think that's part of what makes it SO amazing. They have really spectacular "sauces" on each sandwich, the bread is outstanding and all the sandwiches are served warm. I wish I had one close to me because I would be eating there all the time!!

I agree!! The bread is so fresh and warm and the sandwiches are the best I have ever had.

I think BOG for dinner, and I really have to try that cappuccino cupcake from Pizza Planet.

We are going to an allergen free dessert party at Epcot in October. I'm looking forward to that, and tasting wedding food Laughing out loud.

Yes, it's just a sandwich shop, but honestly they are really good sandwiches with the freshest products and flavorful combinations. They roast their beef on premise each day, and the bread is baked fresh with each sandwich. So it's great food and reasonable prices. I'm not a huge meat eater so the Caprese is my "go to" and it's amazing.

Yeah I'm pretty stoked. I saw the photos from last year and it looked amazing. Being GF is easy at Disney but there are still limitations. Im looking forward to an event with no limitations where I can eat all of the goodies!

Honestly, I'd rate Earl of Sandwich about the same as Panera. But each place has its own style and its own specialty sandwiches, so although I wouldn't say EOS is better than Panera, it is different, a change of pace from what I can get back home.

I don't know what the Panera's around everyone else are like, but ours suck! The sandwiches are pre made and they don't have much selection. Earl is 100% to us.

Definitely not premade around here. The sandwiches are very fresh and the selection is extensive and varied. You order, they give you a pager, and you find a table, get your drink, and wait while they make your sandwich to order. And I know they're made to order because cheese is a standard ingredient on most of their sandwiches and I always order mine without cheese.

Our local Panera is fairly new; perhaps the newer ones are larger and better equipped to prep sandwiches made to order?

On our last trip to the World we didn't stay on property and only visited MK and Epcot so we didn't make any ADR's. Having said that, I think I'm most looking forward to Boma (made those ressies after seeing Zz's trip report photos - thanks Zz!) and the grapefruit cake at Hollywood Brown Derby - I've never tried it but it sounds wonderful!

The other day on DFB I saw that the Territory Lounge at Wilderness Lodge is now doing fresh made to order doughnuts. My family will tell you that I'm a sucker for fried dough in a bag that you shake up with sugar. ALmost in the same way I'm a sucker for a drink in a pineapple. I CAN NOT WAIT to try these new doughnuts!

What's the Thing You're Most Looking Forward to Eating On Your Next WDW trip?

Where did you hear about the doughnut thing... I just looked up there menu online and nothing was on there about it and there were only like 5 things on the menu anyways

As always, just looking forward to the dinner we will have at Le Chefs on our next visit. Never had a bad experience or meal there. One of our favourites at Disney World by far. And, we just enjoy the theming of Sci Fi Drive In and the 50's Prime Time Cafe. So looking forward to our visits to those restaurants as well.

The chocolate dipped Mickey ice cream on a stick. We love, love love them. They're sold in the parks and found them at the gift shop at Animal Kingdom Lodge. At the Lodge we bought about 10 and took them back to the room to put in our freezer in our kitchen. banana

In addition to everything at Ohana (and we have our reservation, yay) I'm now looking forward to eating around the World Showcase. Gonna try all the international counter-service places, most of which we've never visited before because we're usually there during Food and Wine and just graze the booths.
