Your Favourite Epcot Adult Strolling Drink...

Ok..Don't laugh...But last year my DW and I got a couple of margaritas from La Cava and asked if we could take them outside..No problem..So there we were strolling round the countries sipping away..They tasted awesome as we took in illuminations and just people watched..Strange thing is, I couldn't see me doing this with a large beer..So have you ever done a Epcot stroll with an adult drink.?..If so, what is your favourite whilst taking in all the atmosphere of the countries...I bet there's a Dirty Birdie out there...?...LOL.. laugh

One of mine and DH's favorite things to do in EPCOT is drink around the world. We try to grab a drink in each country, including beer. They do tend to fill the beer cups to the tippy top, so we take a few sips and enjoy the bar area until it's at a "strollable" level.

Usually we start in Canada. I find that if I start in Mexico, I can't complete the world lol. Those Margarita's while tasty, are extremely strong!

That being said, my favorite drink that i've had so far, is the avocado margarita in Mexico.

My favorite to walk around with used to be a Strongbow. But now they sell those over here so I'm going to have to find something else. But that grapefruit beer things in Germany sounds pretty good.

That Grey Goose is YUM. We sipped our way around Epcot for two straight days and loved it.

I'm going to try on our trip in a couple weeks! I've heard it's very tasty.

The margarita's at La Cava Del Tequila are far superior to any other alcoholic beverage served in EPCOT as far as mixed drinks are concerned... In my biased opinion. Margarita's are my favorite and they sure do know how to make them there. We tried the avocado, pineapple, and jalapeno last time we were there... The pineapple margarita was a bit too sweet... The avocado is creamy bliss... And if you like spicy the jalapeno is just the right kick. I'll be checking a few more flavors off the list in 2 weeks.

Food and Wine Festival, France, sparkling pomegranate kir. Yum. Too bad you can't get it all year. I'd even settle for a takeaway regular kir.

The little Unibroue stand in Canada has very good beer. I think it may be the only place outside Canada where you can get it. Margaritas in Mex, vodka Slushies, Italy has some good beers.

For strolling, a cucumber margarita from La Cava. When we listen to Off Kilter or British Revolution, it's a black and tan, or Bass from Rose & Crown(English Rose or Welsh Dragon for a cocktail). For concerts at American Gardens, the Red Stag lemonade from Drum and Fife. Tutto Gusto is our go to place for wine.

I love the Grey Goose Citron SLush. I can't remember the last time we went to EPCOT and I didn't have one.

Let's see I'll start in Canada with a beer then head to the R&C pub for a Leaping Leprechaun then on to my all time favorite the Grey Goose Slush, followed by lots of wine until I get to Mexico for a margarita by that time I'm not so picky

I like the Gray Goose slushie thing but I'm skeptical about whether there is any Grey Goose in it. Now the frozen margaritas from Mexico, they definitely have alcohol in them.

I like the Hoppageddons at the beer stand at the US pavillion.

I doubt there is even half a shot in one of those. Drink two margaritas on the other hand, and you'll be cross-eyed.

Now I had that and didn't like that at all, but I like the darker beers and the porters. The frozen beer I had was really bitter.

Hmmm.... I don't recall it being bitter (I also don't like bitter beer). Perhaps there were different beers available as frozen? Oh well, I guess I'll just have to try another one to refresh my memory. biggrin

The things we do in the name of research! laugh

You must be a fan of Black & Tan then mrhub? I think Big River Grille and Brewing Works serves it. I can't wait to get the sampler there again. Mmmm...

My stroll around drink at Epcot is either a Frozen Strawberry Margarita or a Frozen Red Stag Lemonade. I have on occasion strolled with Grand Marnier Slush too.
