I've had a few trips during which it seemed to never stop raining, but I've also had some where it's unbearably hot and humid. Which would you prefer if you had to pick one?

Wow that is a tough one and I think I am going to have to go with rain. I do not do heat very well so rain it is. You can always put on a poncho and stay RELATIVELY dry by going indoors shopping etc. but once I am hot even AC doesn't have the desired effect.

I'll agree with this, as long as it's not for the WHOLE vacation. I can handle two or three rainy days, but once it extends beyond that, I feel like I'm missing out on my vacation. If it's hot, it still looks sunny and vacation-y to me and I don't feel like I'm wasting money.
Definitely heat. Rain just makes me sad and soggy. I can handle heat and just duck into the air conditioning whenever possible.
That is a hard question! Can't we take a mix?
If I HAD to pick one, I think I'd go with heat, since you can always duck inside to get some A/C relief. I hate being wet--especially when my feet are wet, I'm just miserable.

I'm going to say rain, but we'll see after this week. Rain is predicted every day!

I'm gonna go with heat on this one. Having lived in the South for the last 30 years, I'm used to it. Having said that tho...an occasional shower is nice. But I HATE walking around in squishy socks!
Life is what you make it...then there's Disney!!!
Naturally don't like either, but I would have to choose the heat for the reasons given above. At least with the heat there's air conditioning. With the rain there's AC, which just makes it more miserable! Also, I HATE ponchos - those things are so hot and sticky -- and smelly...I prefer just getting wet!
Zipadeedoodah -- yeah, man
@Mike&Donna: squishy socks are the WORST.
@TeacherDrama: Good point on the AC making rain worse (brr!!). Plus, what's up with the ponchos having that weird white powder on them lately? Is that normal?
