"Where are you from?" Map!

WDW for Grownups member location map.

Our awesome member NHShorty created this wonderful map to show what part of the world our members are from. If you would like to be put on the map, please send NHShorty a message or leave a post, but please be patient for your pin to be put on the map. Please do not give specific addresses, just a town or area, maybe a zip code, even a state.

Excellent work NHShorty!

It started me thinking...

What would the demographics look like for ALL visitors to Disney World? I'm sure Disney has such a map, but it would be interesting to know! Wink

I did nothing but come up the idea..All credit to Mr NHShorty...I was trying to figure out how it could be done, but when it comes to computers,I'am hopeless.. sad ...I even get my DS to design posters for my band..But yes agree,it's kinda fun seeing where in the world everyone comes from..I'am also sure we had a member from Germany and
Holland..Hoo Hoo !Where are you... clapping

Fergi, for once I agree with you; NHShorty should get all the credit.

She didn't do it to see how many "likes" or responses she would get or to see her post count go up. She did it because she wanted to contribute something meaningful.

King Fergus

I have just been informed that NHShorty is a female and not a male...This I didn't know..I apologise for this misunderstanding ...

Although I couldn't find a map for the whole world I did find this map (US only) that shows the demographic of people most likely to visit Disney World.

Interesting how sporadic it is! Many well below average and well above average zip codes are adjacent. It also makes sense that the pockets of above average likelihood to visit correspond with areas where cost of living is higher. With higher prices on everything, maybe Disney seems less expensive relative to daily life than it does to people who live in lower cost of living areas.

I bet if there was a Disneyland map equivalent, you'd see a lot more blue areas on the West Coast and the state of California.

I understand that in August a lot of Brazilian blog members clog up the forums. You'll have to adjust the map at that time.
