I would guess they would dress up as in these photos..Eat & drink & let off fireworks..Then my boys from Scotland get the party moving...You got to move it move it...

yeah that,s pretty much it KF although normally our celebration tends to be to raise a coffee at whichever park we at at on May 9th ...
This year is a bit different as DW has to work and i am re-jiggling our kitchen .. Rock and Roll

I grew up in Northwestern Pa between Erie, Pa and Buffalo, Ny. My hometown is known for Zippo Lighters and Marolyn Horne, the Opera singer. I relocated to Orlando, Florida in 2012 and I've been within a 30 minute drive to the magic ever since.

Oh my gosh! My gymnasts hd a competition at a YMCA in southwestern NY a few years ago and we must have driven right past your hometown on the interstate. I remember the zippo factory!

I don't remember the numbers....I remember driving through a state park somewhere above Dubois and being somewhat concerned that our car might be abducted by a bear...and I remember the zippo factory. I can't even remember the name of the town we competed in!! The only restaurant in the entire town was Friendly's and my kids did really well at the meet. Wow. My memory used to be better than that!

I assume that shortly thereafter, we would have been eaten by said bear.

I grew up in Dubois and my parents still live there. My mother has to bring in her many birdhouses every single night because Black Bears come into their yard most nights looking for food. She has forgotten a few nights and every time she did, a Bear got into the birdhouses! Living in many parts of PA is almost like living in the woods
