Who Will be Seeing Cars 2 in the Near Future?

Cars 2 opens tomorrow in the US. Who will be seeing it in the near future? Besides Tony and me? Smile When does it open in the UK, btw?

I believe my nephew has my Mum and I reserved for the showing.

I was just informed by my son that he wants to see it. So I may take him when its $5 at the theater just so I can see the Toy Story short before it.

I think it's 23rd July here, which may be a problem for me as we fly to Greece for a week on the 24th. Hopefully I'll get to take my nephew before he goes on his holidays. It would be his first cinema movie.

I'll probably wait until my friend buys the DVD and then borrow it from her.

Wow, Tony! You're going to Greece on holiday - I'm going to another part of FL biggrin

How old is your nephew? That should be pretty cool for him.

There's also supposed to be a Brave teaser trailer, isn't there? Can't WAIT for that one.

My nephew is 7 and loves Cars and cars generally.

This'll be about my 10th visit to Greece, there's some pics on here (i think on the artistic photos thread) from last years visit. It's only a 4 hour flight from the UK, so closer for us than about 3/4 of the USA would be for you.
The only problem is that it puts our next Disney holiday further back as we have to start saving again.

From what little I've heard about Brave, it sounds like it should be good.

I have a lot of friends who have boys in between the ages of 3-6 and my Facebook page is blowing up with "Cars 2 was awesome" statuses. I will wait for DVD since we don't get to the movies very much.

We're going to our local drive-in next week to see this. My son is a huge Cars fan, he just loves Lightning Mcqueen! Which also meant when we went to Disney World we had to build his very own remote controlled version!

That remote control car is awesome. Where did he get that??

We "made" it @ Ridemakerz in Downtown Disney! You get to customize it and then put it all together...my hubby seemed to think it was going to be his Smile

I have not seen it yet but I will not let it pass just yet. I think that cars is my top pick should I be asked about my favorite disney movie. Though I have read not so good reviews about it, I would still want to see it.

I am waiting for the cameo of Lewis Hamilton, who is my favorite F1 driver in this season. I just passed through all posts so that I could avoid any spoilers posted here.

We saw it recently and thought it was good, not as good as the original though. I think the storyline may bore some people, kids and adults alike, but still a good film.

Saw the 2D version as we had seen a clip in another 3D movie and some of the faster pace scenes made our eyes go funny!
The joys of old age eh!
