Wine, Beer, Slushes, Saki, Margaritas, Flights and Such Did I miss anything??

We have talked about and posted pictures of food portions at the various F&W booths. I know we plan on sharing a majority of these and then going back for seconds if it is something we really love.

Now most important, what is the size of, say a glass of wine, from one of the booths? I have marked over 30 eek eek eek "beverages" of the adult kind I would like to try. awesome

I am pretty good about holding my liquor but wine, a couple glasses and I am feeling fine! Are they full servings or is it like going to a tasting?

Anyone have pics of the beverages from F&W? I really need to get to work on narrowing my selection. 60 days out now! yay

I've asked about wine glass measurements at restaurants on here before, and I was told it depends on your server, but at the booths, I've no idea..My DW and I can easily share a full bottle when dining out, unfortunately she only likes white, which is still ok for me, tho my preference is red, in fact we once had a full bottle each, one red and one white.( think we may have a problem LOL) But I would think at the booths it should be a decent size glass.. awesome

I think most glasses of wine from the booths are 4 oz pours. Champagne 6oz.

Well, the whole point of the Food & Wine festival is to get a "taste" of foods and drinks from other countries, not to be served a meal and get drunk. The smaller servings are so you can enjoy things from several/multiple booths. The drink is also were they make the most profit from most likely. They are sold that size for a taste, not to get hammered.

Form the Disney Food Blog:
In 2013, beer was $3 " $10 for 6-12 oz. options. Most wines were $2.50 " $4.75 and mixed drinks averaged $7 " $9.

I've no intention of getting " Hammered " ..I've never ever been intoxicated at any WDW vacation, in fact I would go to say the only time i have a good size drink is my nightcap back at our resort room..We never touch alcohol during the day, and apart from a couple of Magaritas at La Cava one night, I honestly can't remember spending any time at a bar at any of our resorts.

Yeah they aren't huge servings!!! but they are nice enough to have a taste from however word of warning.............. make sure you have a soft drink with a Singapore sling!!!! that can make you intoxicated by smell alone!!! I was told at the counter last year it is the strongest drink they serve at F&W and I have to believe them on this!

I love those Singapore Slings! I've had them at other bars/restaurants and Disney's is by for the strongest I've ever had. You've got to make sure you eat before sampling though. Those things can be deadly. awesome

GIN!!!!!!! I swear the one we had was pure gin we had to make a stop for food for my mam (even though she ate her way around the world!!) to try and soak some up of the alcohol I'm scared to try it again!!!

also something to note the year we had it, it was a very perfumed taste - that's why this got passed to my mam in the first place!

Its gin, cherry brandy, pineapple juice and a splash each of club soda and grenadine. It is very strong but I really like the flavor of it. Amy, you may have just gotten a bad batch because although you definitely feel the effects after one drink, you shouldn't be overpowered with any one flavor. Maybe give it another shot... But only after eating, and probably as your first drink.

We did the wine walk last time I was in Epcot and loved it! I highly recommend it if you aren't going during F&W festival. There is too many other things that we want to try during the festival.
