wondering????

Hi All,
I know my trip to Disney isn't until the end of November/beginning of December 2017 but I am wondering and wishing that it will be possible to stay at a Deluxe as this could be my last time going to Disney (based on my age). So hopefully I will see if this can be a reality or not.
There will be 4 adults going (myself, my husband and my girlfriend and her husband) and I was wondering if we got 2 bedroom something or other about how much more would it be a night as we normally stay at a Moderate POFQ (is my moderate of choice). I did some quick pricing for POFQ for 2 rooms and it is about 590.00 a night so is there anything in a deluxe 2 bedroom for about that price a night or a little more?

I know you can rent through dvc rental but I have never done that and it makes me nervous because I have heard if things change and you have to change your mind you forfeit your money so that makes me nervous.

Thanks for any and all suggestions.

For 2016 a two-bedroom villa in Old Key West Resort is $704 per night. That was pricing for the last week of Nov and first week of Dec.

Also, I have never seen discounts available on Two or three bedroom villas. You may do better looking at single deluxe rooms where you should be able to get a discount.

While I can't imagine ever being an age that I didn't think I could go to Disney, my parents and aunt all passed away before 65, so I do understand feeling like there could be a time limit.

That time period is VERY popular with DVC Members because of the low point cost. You could have difficulty getting a reservation if you don't book right at 11 months out.

You're not going to see many discounts on DVC rooms through Disney. For the best price on a 2 bedroom DVC Room, I suggest using a broker to rent points vs. going straight through Disney. However brokers do make their on rules on cancelations and I'm not familiar with any of these personally.

Because I can't endorse on of these DVC brokers maybe someone else could drop a link for you? mickey

Depending on the Deluxe Resort you want to stay at, a standard room may start around $500. Do you know which resort you were hoping to stay at? Rack Rates (the standard non-discounted room rate claimed by the hotel) for 2 Bedroom DVC Villas are often $1200 - $1500.

Lol.....68 this July. Because if I can't walk it I won't go...I know that is just my thing. I may walk slower (although my niece was always telling I was walking too fast) but I notice so much more things now that I didn't when I went with my kids.
