Has the site ever considered a live chat option? An opportunity for members that are online at the same time to hold an open discussion. I am not even sure if the site is capable of it but if there was enough interest I am sure the smart minds of this site could explore it.

Well first of all, I do not think this forum has that capability in its system.
Secondly, you would have to a have a guaranteed Moderator on 24/7 live and that we do not have the capability of doing. Chat rooms get out of hand very easily and quite often.

I'm not sure if Brad (our site owner) has considered it, but I do agree with MrHub's response of the difficulties that it would entail. I don't believe that is something that will be happening soon.
I also agree with Mr. Hub and if I want to chat with just one member I private message them. Live chat can sometimes not go well.
Ok, so this is a no. Just a thought. There is so much cool sharing going on, just thought the option to do it live would be cool.

Also, if its live, it's not saved. Doing a forum this way, anyone can see the posts after the fact.
