I'm not sure I'd enjoy it nearly as much if the food were bad or mediocre. I love the parks, but I also love coming back from the parks and relaxing. I'd probably still go, but not nearly as much.

I love the atmosphere in the parks so would still go but probably go eleswhere to eat at night. There's a huge choice around the local area.
I can only please one person per day. Today isn't your day... tomorrow doesn't look good either.

It would be considerably less enjoyable to not be able to stop in the park for a nice meal, or jaunt out quickly for one. I think I'd still go, but it wouldn't be the complete experience it is now.

I think I feel the same way. But I also feel like it would probably be a bigger deal than it seems.
Also to avoid Tony's loophole we should assume that the restaurants nearby aren't very good either. (I'm not sure why they can't make decent food in Orlando in my alternative universe.) Or even better would you go if there was good food in Orlando, but none in WDW and then how about if there was in neither?
No way. If the food were bad, it would take away at least 60% of the enjoyment for me. At the very least, I would stay off-site in that case so I could find better restaurants elsewhere.

I'd put it at 50% for myself but it would definitely be a problem.
I am sure we would still go but it would not be the same. We both really look forward to our meals while on vacation.
I'm in agreement with you guys -- I think the food means more to me than I'd be willing to admit... I could handle going off site for dining, but it ends up being a big hassle. I've been so impressed with how Disney's improved their dining options. Even in counter service, the last few years have shown great improvement.

A really good question. My answer would be that I wouldn't go at all, because I am unable to drive and getting around Florida cheaply without a car is next to impossible.

I know it's hypothetical, but I don't think we could even have this conversation if Disney's food wasn't as good as it is. Simply, the parks wouldn't be as great as they are or have attracted as many people if everyone knew the food wasn't good.
Zipadeedoodah -- yeah, man
I think it's a package deal for us - all or nothing as far as great food and great entertainment. If we're going to spend that much money on the park and admissions to be there, mediocre food would probably be a deal breaker.
