Yep - cannot see Mr. Hub not snagging a Poly contract.

And my counter is sticking - I need to fix that puppy!

Good morning! Hope everyone who celebrates it has had a happy and safe holiday season. Except for contracting bronchitis and the flu, my girlfriend Susie's and mine has been pretty good.

I have stayed in the All Stars, Pop Century, WL, BC, and AKL. My favorite is WL, where I stayed during my solo trip November 30-December 8, 2005. My TA had gotten me an upgrade from a standard room to a courtyard view, handicapped accessible (I have mild cerebral palsy), king bed room near the pool (room 1121). Jackie, the check in cast member, told me "Welcome Home!", even though I do not own DVC. Other than finding that ice cream sundaes do indeed have gender, that was the highlight of my trip.

OK, I know I'm probably going to regret this, but I have to ask. Ice cream sundaes have a gender?

Over here my milkshakes have a gender, there is a chain of shops that name their milkshakes after people. DS favourite is the Ben and I'm partial to an Alan or a Colin

I have stayed at many of the resorts over the years. The 2 that are nearest and dearest to my heart are Port Orleans Riverside (we stayed there when it was still Dixie Landings on our honeymoon) and The Polynesian. The other resorts in which we have stayed are AS-Mo, AS-Music, Pop Century, Caribbean Beach, Coronado Springs, Port Orleans French Quarter, Old Key West, The Wilderness Lodge and the Contemporary. I would love to stay at the Yacht and Beach Club and The Animal Kingdom Lodge one day. Our daughter and son in law just bought into the DVC and their home resort is The Polynesian. Hoping that maybe one day we will get that chance. crossfingers

We generally stay at either the Poly, GF, or contemporary everytime we have gone. We did stay at the Swan, when it came with a business trip. I think my favorite is the Poly. I think the themeing really makes you believe you have ventured to a Polynesian village. I have never had a bad stay at any of the resorts, and I would love to try all of them!

It's one of the resorts that you can forget that you are in central Florida!
