So many great shots from around WDW to greet me this morning!

Admin: The detail that goes into disney resort decor is just amazing. I would have walked by that a million times and never noticed it, but it's beautiful!

Zz: I've never seen an AM Adv. pic from that angle. Looks so interesting.

Mr Hub: I'm glad you needed your fix! The sky in that Space Mtn photo is so ominous, but the people in the sunshine on the Wed Way seem oblivious!

I love the views of DTD from SSR.

I thought it was cool when we stayed there that I could see the "New Year's Eve" fireworks every night over at Pleasure Island. I'm guessing they don't still do those.

Zapperz' photo has a beautiful view of France across the moonlit river, warm lights blazing in the windows, people buzzing around... but mine has

Cool, Zapperz. I always want to look more closely at those astronaut guys.

Long exposures and a tripod I'd guess. I have a similar pic from our trip last year, but it's not as well framed.

What kind of tripod do you use? Do they have little ones that don't take up too much space and can fit in a backpack?

I have a small tripod that fold up to about 4" long and is ideal for sitting on top of walls or trash bins, always managed to forget to take it to the parks though so just sit the camera on anything thats available and steady it as best I can. Sometimes it works and sometimes not.

You can do one of two ways. You can take with you a small, portable tripod like Gorillapod. It has legs that you can twist around almost anything, and it is extremely light. I tend to carry this in my pocket when I don't want to carry a backpack.

The other alternative is to carry a tripod can collapse into a small, manageable size. My favorite that I recommend all the time is Velbon ultra maxi. Not only will you be amazed at how small this collapse to, but you'll be amaze how tall it can expand (~60 inches). And it weighs barely 2 lbs. The tripod fits very well inside a regular backpack.

Unfortunately, that tripod is no longer in production, although you might be able to still find it here and there on the 'net. Velbon, I think, has come up with a newer model similar to this one, but since I don't own the newer model, I can't recommend it. Luckily, I bought two of the old Velbon ultra maxi. I bought a 2nd one after I was very happy with the first.

What are the red decorations on the Germany train display? I can't tell what they're "celebrating."

Great shot, Zapperz! My mine car is always going way to fast at that point to get that pic (but I always try!). The view and angle are just perfect!

Here's the Fountain of Nations to start your Wednesday:
