Disney News Round-up: Walt Disney World Resort Ambassadors, Coca-Cola Bear Coming to Disney Springs, and More

Happy Wednesday and welcome to another edition of the Disney News Round-up! In today's news Disney has selected new ambassadors for the Walt Disney World Resort, the Coca-Cola Bear is headed to Disney Springs, and we have a rumor about Disney's Hollywood Studios. Let's check it out!

The Walt Disney World Resort has selected cast members Ken Facey and Brandon Peters as the new Walt Disney World ambassadors. The new ambassadors will represent cast members and Disney at events.

Who doesn't love 7-foot-tall polar bear? This week a new interactive meet-and-greet experience is coming to the Coca-Cola Store in Disney Springs. Guests will have the chance to meet the Coca-Cola Bear. Guests will also find a wide assortment of polar bear-themed merchandise at the store.

We're hearing reports that the new Muppets show, 'The Muppets Present...Great Moments in American History' will open at the Magic Kingdom on October 2. There is no official word yet from Disney regarding this date.

And finally, in the rumor files today: there is a story swirling about that the partnership between Turner Classic Movies and Disney might be on the rocks. According to reports, the TCM Classic Cruise (on Disney Cruise Line) has been part of the partnership between TCM and Disney and this year's cruise was the final voyage. TCM has said they are looking to engage with fans "in new and different ways." This is all speculation but it will be interesting to see what, if anything, this means for the partnership (and for The Great Movie Ride).
