Art Smith's Homecomin' Florida Kitchen and Shine Bar is without a doubt one of knock-out new additions to Disney Springs. It doesn't matter if you are eating a full meal at the table service, or grabbing something from the take out window, guests of Chef Art's get a warm Southern welcome and an exceptional meal. Today we're taking a look at one of the fabulous cocktails being served up at the Shine Bar, the Fig and Berries.
Homecomin's menu has a great selection of "Resort Cocktails" on it, and you can tell that Chef Art put every bit as much love and attention into what goes in your glass as he did to what goes on your plate. While the focus here is obviously on sensational Southern Moonshine - it is called the Shine Bar after all - that's not the only liquor on the shelf.
The Fig and Berries cocktail is a bright, sweet and tangy concoction that comes across as very drinkable for tequila fans. Fresh muddled strawberries are combined with luxury Dobel Diamanta Reposado Tequila, fig jam, agave, and lime juice to create what we thought tasted like an upscale margarita.
Have you stopped by Art Smith's Shine Bar yet? If so leave a comment and let us know what your favorite Southern Shine cocktail is! If not - be sure to put it on your list!

I'm not a fan of tequila. If that had rum in it, I'd be all over it. Haha.
Tell me more about that Apple Pie a la Mode in the bottom picture. Apple Pie moonshine and vanilla sounds like a good start.

Barbra - I didn't trie the Apple Pie cocktail - HOWEVER - The Shine Cake on the dessert menu is absolutely drenched in the Apple Pie Moonshine and it is amazing.
