I scream, you scream!

Hi folks,

As many of you know, we'll be taking my parents to Disney with us for a few days and my dad is a big ice cream fan and I'd like to try to "stumble" upon a special ice cream treat for him on each of our 5 days at some point. I'm thinking so far Edy's on Main Street, self serve Dole Whip at Poly, and a banana split at Beaches & Cream. I need two more--we could do Ghiradelli, but I found my order to be a bit overboard there last time. I'm a premium Mickey bar fan, myself, but that's not really dad's speed.

Do you have a favorite ice cream place/treat on WDW property?

Thanks!

You picked a lot of my favorite ice cream spots. Have you tried L'Artisan Des Glaces in France yet? That is one of my favorites. muchlove

Spice Road Table "in" Morocco also has ice cream at the adjacent juice bar now! Some fairly off the wall flavors (almond and rosewater, chocolate and cinnamon, etc), but it might be something cool to try if you're tired of normal ice cream flavors!

Well, aside from Dole Whips and premium bars, I would also throw in the gelato stand in Italy. And I also heard the Plaza at the MK has good ice cream, too.

If this is the place near the entrance to Fantasmic, I agree. Hubby almost always stops there for ice cream. Occasionally I will indulge also. It's good stuff.

Thanks, everyone. Scoops sounds like a winner. I'll investigate that! I love the gelato, but dad's more into the ice cream.
