So we are finally within single digits - yeah!!
As some of you might remember, we are staying at the Boardwalk Inn for the first time. All previous visits have been to moderates, but we thought we would upgrade this time as we love Epcot and want to experience a stay at a deluxe resort, especially since we are thinking about DVC resale.
We fly out next Saturday (31st) from Toronto direct to Orlando - should get in just after lunch and hoping to be at the resort around 2:30 or so. Quickly check in and then walk (so cool) over to Epcot and make our way around WS, stopping at France for a lemon vodka slush, stopping at Germany for a beer and finally making our way to Canada for dinner at Le Cellier. Hopefully should be able to catch Illuminations on our walk (!!) back to our hotel.
Sunday starts with a late breakfast at Kona Cafe and a little shopping at the stores at the Poly (Ken loves it there) and then head over to MK for the day.
Monday is HS with an early lunch ADR at the Sci-Fi drive in. I'm hoping (Ken doesn't know this yet) to get to HS early enough for the rope drop, but we will see how it goes. Then back to the Boardwalk for a late dinner at Cape May.
Tuesday is a free day - maybe a trip to AK?
Wednesday we need to be up bright and early as we are booked for the Steam Train tour at MK and we need to be there at 7am! We'll be taking a taxi for sure. We are so looking forward to getting into the park very early and Ken will have his camera ready. We'll spend most of the day at MK and probably head back to Epcot for dinner - maybe Tokyo Dining?
Thursday is our 21st anniversary and we will more than likely spend the day at Epcot and we have a dinner reservation at San Angel Inn - should be very romantic!
Friday and Saturday are currently free days, so maybe back to HS or maybe DTD or maybe even resort hopping, which we love to do. We fly back on Sunday.
So looking forward to this trip and seeing what the weather is like in September - will definitely pack our ponchos! Just wished we qualified for FassPass+ and magic bands - sounds like that will be a go for our next trip. Will give a TR when we get back, with some photos.
