This is my first time staying in Port Orleans French Quarter, and the rooms have been refurbed not too long ago. I took some pics. What do you guys think? Anyone else have any pictures? Did anyone stay here pre-refurb? How are the changes?

Still looks pretty much the same, but maybe a little fresher. I think the biggest change I am looking forward to is the new sinks/vanity areas. I really did not like those 2 individual bathroom sinks (this is from Dec. 2010).

We stayed her last May. Absolutely LOVED the new "Queen" size beds! They were so comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. The new decor is gorgeous! The old seemed a bit cheesy. This has more of a "Deluxe" feel, even though it's a "Moderate". We loved this resort and will more than likely be staying here on our next trip.
Thanks for the picture Jeff. It actually looks more similar than I expected. I think the Coronado Springs refurb did more to help those rooms. I think I like the new bedspreads better and the bathroom is definitely an improvement I think.
The tile in the bathroom is gorgeous but you really have to see it in person to get the full effect. The whole room is beautiful!

I'm thinking we'll be back there again next year. I really want to stay 8-9 days at the AKL one day soon.
I'm looking forward to the cloud like beds. I'm wondering if they are the same beds that are on the new DCL ships. Those beds are fantastic.
