Way to go King Fergus! Last night I had my last piece of vegan chocolate (for my birthday), now it's lent so no more for a while. I started my day with Jillian Michael's Killer Buns and Thighs and lets just say when I was done dripping was an understatement. LOL DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT do level 2 if you have back or knee issues!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It warmed up near freezing so I went out and walked 4 miles so far just to get out! Groundhog hunting might just be in my future if it doesn't warm soon, I'm tired of looking at snow banks taller than my dh!!!!!! My usual mean green smoothie for breakfast and lunch and dinner will be leftover veggie platter ala TC and raw spring rolls. Stay warm and safe! ps King Fergus how's the ark building going?

Having chipotle honey glazed chicken, grilled asparagus and carrots all on the grill since it's nice out.
Keep those animals in line, King!

Very inspirational! I really need to kick it up a notch to be in better shape for my trip. I like to walk, but have slacked off terribly during these winter months! sad

Good morning!! Thanks Disneydoc! I try to walk outside every day, but this winter has been so cold. Some days I have had to walk inside. Fortunately, we have a two-level house so I have stairs!

Winter is back again!! waiting oh boy! Now we are supposed to get rain, sleet and snow tonight and tomorrow!! This is getting frustrating!

Dinner is grilled portobello mushrooms and lentils with mustard sauce.
Walking inside since it is cold out.

Everyone take care and have a great day!

King Fergus

Well Thursday again it's rain..Tonight's dinner is a Scottish classic..Mince & Tatties...Ye canny whack it...Oops..Let me translate in Queens English...Tonight's dinner is lean beef mince in a gravy served with creamed mash potato..And it's hard to beat...LOL.

Good morning all! We got by with just a trace of snow and some sleet last night. Warmed up this morning and changed to rain clapping But, not so good for the eastern part of the state. My DH is heading there with crews to restore power. Our DD lives there and has no power. So, please pray for safe travels and keeping folks safe until power returns. Thanks!
May work around the kitchen a bit since DH isn't here. We have one week before we head to the world! So I don't want to get into too big a project!
Walking will be inside unless it stops raining and warms up. Dinner will probably be leftover chicken tortilla soup for one.
Everyone take care and have a great weekend!!Smile Move it, move it!!

King Fergus

Take it easy Boomer...Be safe and check your planning list..Today was cold but dry..Exercise was a brisk, and I mean brisk, walk along by our loch..Even the sheep have their woollies still on...Tonight is Mac & Cheese..Have a good weekend everyone..

Good morning all! Hope everyone changed their clocks ahead one hour last night (for the areas that do this).
It is a bright, sunny morning here in the mountains. The birds are singing and are very happy.
My DH is still out of town. My DD still has no power. And I am getting ready for our vacay in one week.
This is going to be a hectic week, especially if I have to do everything by myself. My DH usually gets to help in the pre-planning of packing. Well, he will just have to wear what I pack. LOL
Today's walking will probably be outside since it is so nice. Dinner is chicken Caesar salad. Trying to make meals for one sometimes is what I can throw together without too much thought.
Anyways, here is to a great week ahead. Hope everyone has a glorious Sunday wherever you are!! cool

Good morning!! Hope everyone is up and moving!!
Well DH is still working power outages. It has been really bad there! He is going to really need a Disney vacation! Lol He has been gone since last Friday. The hotel they stayed at last night had no water due to a main water break so no showers this morning. Hope he gets one today.
My DD did get her power back on so I am very happy about that. She was off since last Friday!
I have my packing lists and will probably start some packing later. Had to run the kitty to the vet yesterday for an allergy shot.
Got my 4 miles walk outside and did my weights. Today looks sunny so prob outside again. Love walking outside much more than inside.
Dinner is grilled veggies and whole wheat couscous. This is my favorite meal!
Well everyone have a great day!! Move it, move it!!

Good morning, sorry I haven't checked in in a while. My stove and blender really started having problems Friday and I spent the weekend looking for new ones. The stove I really wanted was on sale over the weekend and should be here by some time next week, the old one should hold on until then. The blender just up and passed on, but I upgraded that also, I got the ninja kitchen system and let me tell you it works great, my smoothies are nice and smooth no little pieces or grit! So breakfast smoothie, kale, spinich, berries and carrot. Lunch smoothie arugala, lime, cucumber, celery and pineapple dinner will be salad and falaffel. I started my day with kickboxing and ab work and after the boys left I went around my lake 2 1/2 miles and will be heading back out in a while to go around again. I'm not missing out on the good weather today because later tomorrow I'll be getting more snow! Stay warm, safe and keep on Disney dreaming.

Okay! Now I am inspired. I planned on being down 40 by Sept 1st (10 down so far) but I work at it and hurt all over...but I will look good in those white capris and not look like a large marshmellow next my petite friend..

Today was 50F so I decided to go out and break up the inch thick layer of ice that was still coating our driveway and smooth out the layers of snow in the yard because tomorrow it is supposed to regress back to winter and we're supposed to get 8 inches of snow! mad I've tried not to complain about this record breaking winter but it is wearing on my last nerve... I just want to be outside!!
Oh well, back on track, the ice shoveling for 50 minutes definitely worked up a sweat and I'm sure I'll be feeling it tomorrow wink

you guys are inspiring me and I need to get in on this thread. Last Fall when I was at Disney I was 15 pounds lighter. I have a whole drawer of "Disney" vacation clothes that I want to make sure I can wear when I go back in June. I just purchased a treadmill and I have all my meals planned so now all I need is some more will power to stick with it! Part of the fun while in the World is enjoying all the great food and snacks and I intend on doing that guilt free laugh

Good morning!! Welcome Ms Mouse!!
Today is cold and windy here! I don't like this 40 degree drop from yesterday! Brr! Thank goodness we have only 3 more days til we get to FL!!!
Yesterday my DH returned from out of town work. He has developed a bad cough and hoarseness. I am going to have to pump him full of vitamin C before we go. And hopefully I won't catch it!
Starting packing today and checking over my lists.
Walking is definitely inside today. Dinner is salmon and cleaning out the veggies in my refrigerator.
Take it easy everyone, be safe, happy, and move it!Smile

Even more incentive to get moving and lay off those carbs! Chicken and veggies for me today along with a protein shake. Enjoy all the packing! It's not a chore when you are headed to Disney laugh
