Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is a hard ticket event held from 7pm until midnight on select nights each Fall at the Magic Kingdom. Buy your tickets early. This special event does sell out on some dates, so try and get your tickets secured early to make sure you get in. While the price seems to be going up every year, discounts are available on some nights for Military, DVC Members, AP Holders, and Advanced Purchase.

Go during the week and early in the season if you're looking for the smallest crowds. The closer October 31st gets, the more people want to get in on the spooktacular fun.

Go in Costume! Just make sure you read Disney's Costume Rules first so that you won't be turned away. If you don't want to wear a full costume, consider a Disneybound Character inspired outfit.

Go with a Group. Come on, when's the last time you and your friends went Trick-or-Treating? Grab your buddies and be ready to party.

Eat before you go. Party time is limited - don't waste your fun time with a long meal in the middle. I suggest eating an early dinner before you head to the Party. If your schedule just won't allow, try to grab something fast at one of the Magic Kingdom's counter service establishments.

Grab a Guide. When you enter the Park be sure to grab a special Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Guide, this will show you the location of all the special happenings like dance parties, specialty food, party merchandise, meet-and-greets, entertainment, and the all important candy stations!

Make a Plan. Once you have that handy-dandy Party Guide, take a few minutes to stop and figure out where the things you want to do are. Get an idea of your route through the Park so you're not just wandering. As usual, a little planning will make sure you don't miss out on things you're most looking forward to.

Focus on the Party. While the back drop of the Magic Kingdom makes for a fabulous Halloween Party, schedule this event as something special, not as regular Park time. Focus of the fun extras so you don't miss a thing.

Watch the Parade. The "Boo To You" Parade can only be seen at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, and it's one of the best that Disney has. The floats are full of unique Characters and Villains that don't usually come out to play the rest of the year. My favorite unit is the Haunted Mansion Grave Digger Drill Team.
