It was just a few months ago that we posted about the beautiful nighttime show at Disney's Animal Kingdom, Rivers of Light. Today we're excited to share that the show is being updated with sharp new video and familiar Disney music to offer guests the next chapter in this stirring story on the Discovery river.

The Walt Disney Company tops Forbes' list of the World's Best Regarded Companies for 2018, moving up four spots from 2017, the first year that the rankings were compiled. Disney ranks No. 1, earning the highest marks among Forbes' 2018 Global 2000 companies.

2019 Atlanta Braves Spring Training Schedule at ESPN Wide World of Sports

Disney & Major League Baseball are both as American as apple pie, so it's no wonder that the Atlanta Braves have been making their spring home at the ESPN Wide World of Sports (WWoS) for more than 20 years. In fact the very first event held at WWoS was a Braves Spring Training Game. Sadly, 2019 will be the final year for The Atlanta Braves to hold Spring Training at Walt Disney World. Now is the time to make your travel plans to enjoy both of these the great American institutions in the same fabulous vacation.

Mighty St. Patrick’s Festival Returns March 13th thru March 17th, 2020

Spring is full of festival fun at Disney Springs, and coming up in March everybody is Irish at Raglan Road's five-day Mighty St. Patrick's Festival! This fabulous annual event held at Raglan Road March 13-17 bringing even more Irish music and dancing to the stages of the Pub complex. New Cirque du Soleil Show Inspired By Disney Animation

After saving their world from certain destruction, Peter Quill (also known as Star-Lord) brokered a deal with Nova Prime and the Xandarian government to bring an outreach program to his home planet. Some of most Xandar's talented musicians take the stage with Star-Lord and Gamora to perform the human audiences' best-loved rock and pop hits from 70's and 80's Earth. That outreach program has landed at Epcot as the 'Guardians of the Galaxy " Awesome Mix Live!'

Sports fans can kit up and head to Disney Springs for the opening of an all new NBA Experience August Aug. 12, 2019. Collaborating with the NBA, Disney has created a brand new, one-of-a-kind environment packed with 13 interactive elements and hands-on activities across 44,000 square feet and two floors. Guests will feel as if they're at the arena and in the heat of a game as they move through this interactive experience.

I am a huge fan of Animal Kingdom after the sun goes down. It wouldn't be a Disney Park without offering a fantastic nighttime show, and Animal Kingdom offers Rivers of Light. Rivers of Light is the Animal Kingdom's first-ever nighttime entertainment offering, lasting for 15 minutes and combining storytelling, brilliant visuals, and a grand musical accompaniment.
