My daughter and I just got back from a Disney trip that was a little unusual for me. While she went off to ride the rides in the Theme Parks with friends, I enjoy packing in a ton of fun outside the Disney Parks. I'd been putting off many fun Disney activities for years while I focused on park time. To my delight I discovered that it's true, you can have a fantastic Walt Disney World vacation without ever stepping foot in a park.
Guests visiting the Magic Kingdom for Independence Day should be prepared for a star-spangled party. The 4th of July is one of the busiest days of the year at Disney Parks, and the Magic Kingdom frequently reaches capacity and experiences phased closures. If this is your destination for the evening's red-white-and-blue panoramic fireworks extravaganza you're going to need to plan.
My last trip to Walt Disney World was a unique one for me, because I made the trip almost entirely on a budget of $400. Such a limited budget meant that I had to avoid the Disney Parks, but that doesn't mean I didn't pack my days in the vacation kingdom with loads of fun. If you're currently planning a low budget Disney trip, you may be interested in 9 things I did for free on my Walt Disney World vacation.
"IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth" will have its last show on September 30, 2019. The nighttime extravaganza has been a staple of Epcot entertainment since it opened in 1999. Over its 20 year run fans have become devoted to its spectacle, making it a popular way to end out your night at the Theme Park. The urge of guests to find the perfect spot to watch has inspired dessert parties, private viewing spaces, and even changes in the design of World Showcase restaurants.

The ambiance of the night is pure Star Wars when you enjoy an out-of-this-world buffet of selection of Star Wars-themed desserts, specialty drinks and an assortment of charcuterie and cheeses. Then enjoy reserved seating for a nighttime spectacular.
Disney After Hours Events have been a huge hit with guests looking to keep the fun coming at Magic Kingdom Park, and Disney just announced a brand new bunch winter dates! One of the undeniable reasons that Walt Disney World is such a popular vacation destination is that it appeals to a broad range of travelers. Let's take a look at a few of the biggest "don'ts" people make on Disney vacations, and get a few ideas of how to work around it.
