Today Disney announced that the popular nighttime show will end its run at the close of the 2019 summer season.

More than ever the iTunes store is showcasing some of the many Disney themed applications that are being produced by creative Disney fans to both entertain you and to make your vacations go more smoothly. I love taking pictures while I'm in Walt Disney World, there are so many interesting sites to see, it's almost impossible to capture them in the ever-changing Disney Parks environment. I do fairly well at taking pictures by day, but when the night comes it's a whole different story. Before each vacation I try to read the camera's little manual so that I remember what settings I have available, but armed with my little point and shoot in the dark I frequently forget what I'm supposed to do.
When the sun goes down at Walt Disney World it doesn't have to be time to head home. My family loves to spend nighttime in the parks and explore all of the magical details of Disney after dark. Fans know that some of the most spectacular shows and effects that Disney has created to entertain the masses happen at the end of the night. Fan favorites include "Wishes" Magic Kingdom Fireworks, Epcot's "Illuminations: Reflections of Earth", and my favorite at Disney's Hollywood Studios "Fantasmic!"
We polled our fans over on Facebook to find out what their favorite Walt Disney World Resort Beach is. It's no surprise that the intense theming at this original WDW Resort goes a long way to create dedicated hotel fans. That sweeping tropical feeling can truly transport you to another time and place, without a doubt Disney's Polynesian Resort ran away with the title!
Have you been looking for indulgent romantic night at Walt Disney World? Perhaps something Grand? How about a perfect night aboard the Grand 1 Yacht at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. You can experience this luxurious getaway for an extra special celebration or just spend a relaxing day out on the water.
Perched high above Walt Disney World Resort on the 15th Floor of the Disney's Contemporary Resort is a bar & lounge with some of the most coveted seating around. Connected to the the exquisite culinary genius of Chef Brian Piasecki's California Grill, the California Grill Lounge serves the same award winning food & wine as in the restaurant.
