The Fireworks Photography Field Guide

I love taking pictures while I'm in Walt Disney World, there are so many interesting sites to see, it's almost impossible to capture them in the ever-changing Disney Parks environment. I do fairly well at taking pictures by day, but when the night comes it's a whole different story. Before each vacation I try to read the camera's little manual so that I remember what settings I have available, but armed with my little point and shoot in the dark I frequently forget what I'm supposed to do.

Notice the fuzzy blurriness of the shot above, as well as the fact that I actually missed the beauty of the fireworks. That right there is why previously I haven't shared my fireworks photography. Luckily, I think I may have found a solution that will help me take better after dark pictures, particularly of the spectacular Disney Fireworks. How is that possible? I'm going to stick a pro in my pocket! Okay, maybe that's not quite right. In truth, I downloaded an app to my iPhone that will help walk me through my camera settings so that I can capture my best fireworks shots possible.

Wow, that sounds pretty cool. This sounds like a great application to let me take night pictures, period, let alone fireworks photos!
