Disney Cruise Line has announced its itineraries for the summer of 2017 and sailings include new ports of call in Alaska, Europe, the Caribbean, and even extra stops at Castaway Cay. Bookings for the 2017 itineraries open April 14.

Disney Cruise Line Announces Plans for Two New Ships

Disney Cruise Line has announced that two new ships will be joining the fleet in 2021 and 2023. The company says it has entered into a "memorandum of agreement" with the Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany for the two new ships.

Our family recently took a short three-day cruise on the Disney Wonder. This newly refurbished ship may be small but it packs a big punch! With the new show, Frozen A Musical Spectacular and new restaurants and lounges we were ready for a brand-new experience. Disney has rotational dining on their ships which means you go from restaurant to restaurant each night of your cruise with your serving staff following along with you. Even on a 3 day, we felt like the servers had known us for ages. The service is impeccable!

Disney Cruise Line Navigator App Debuts Messaging Capabilities

Disney Cruise Line guests have a new way to stay in touch while on board. The cruise line's mobile Navigator app recently launched a chat function.

The Navigator app is available on the Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Magic, and the Disney Wonder. Guests can download the free app from the Apple App Store or Google Play prior to boarding their ship.
