This fall the Disney Cruise Line is celebrating Halloween on the High Seas from September through October, and Very Merrytime Cruises in November and December. All holiday cruises feature special events, specialty foods, and more.
The 2016 Halloween on the High Seas takes place on most sailings aboard the Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Magic. The celebration includes Halloween parties, entertainment, decor, and The Pumpkin Tree.
During Halloween on the High Seas guests can also enjoy: Mickey's Mouse-querade Party, A Nightmare Before Christmas Sing and Scream, Haunted Stories of the Sea, Creepy Cabaret, Halloween-themed movies, and Halloween-themed food.
After Halloween ends, the Disney Cruise Line starts celebrating Very Merrytime Cruises on all four ships. The special holiday events include Mickey's Tree-Lighting Magic, Santa's Winter Wonderland Ball, carolers, family activities, and the Deck the Deck Holiday Party.
Guests on board the ships on Thanksgiving Day can enjoy a Turkey Day feast and visits from Mickey and Minnie in their Thanksgiving attire. The football games will be shown on the jumbo LED Funnel Vision screens.
On Christmas morning Santa and his helpers will have surprises for the kids and a traditional Christmas dinner will be served. Christmas services include a midnight Mass on Christmas Eve. Hanukkah services are planned each day from December 24 through January 1.
Castaway Cay will also be decked out for the holidays with "snow flurries," a Christmas tree, and island holiday music.
