It might seem as if we just finished the winter holiday season, but if you're thinking about planning a Disney Cruise Line vacation for the 2014 holidays, listen up!
Disney Cruise Line just announced the events for the Very Merrytime Cruises taking place from late November through the end of December.
Special events during the Very Merrytime Cruises include King Triton's Tree Lighting Ceremony in the atrium lobby on the first night of each cruise, building gingerbread houses, meeting Santa Claus, youth holiday crafts, and holiday storytellers.
The 'Deck the Deck Holiday Party' is a tropical celebration that includes limbo with Disney characters, the Yuletide Slide, and a conga line around the pool.
Guests sailing on Thanksgiving Day will be served a full Thanksgiving feast and will be joined by Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse dressed in their traditional Thanksgiving attires. Football fans will have a chance to see the big Turkey Day games on the ships' outdoor jumbo LED screens too.
On Christmas morning, Santa and his elves will have a surprise for all the children at the atrium lobby tree, and a Christmas dinner will be served in the dining rooms. Guests can celebrate with a midnight Mass on Christmas Eve, and there will be Hanukkah services each day from December 16-24.
During the Very Merrytime Cruises, stops at Castaway Cay will include "snow flurries," a Christmas tree, and holiday island music.
Guests can also purchase mini Christmas trees and special holiday-themed gift packages for their staterooms.
Special New Year's Eve parties are also planned.
The Disney Magic is sailing seven-night Western Caribbean cruises from November 23 through December 28; the Disney Wonder sails four- and five-night Bahamian and Caribbean cruises from November 23 through December 30; the Disney Dream sails three- and four-night Bahamian cruises from November 24 through December 29; and the Disney Fantasy is sailing seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruises from November 22 until December 27.

I would so love to do a cruise over Thanksgiving weekend. I wouldn't even blink an eye at the thought of missing out on Black Friday!
