New Experiences and Special Events Coming to Disney Cruise Line this Fall
Disney Cruise Line is set to debut several new enhancements on the Disney Dream this fall and an all-new new stage show on the Disney Magic. Guests will also have a chance to celebrate Halloween on the High Seas starting in September.
New experiences coming to Disney Cruise Line
The Disney Dream is headed to dry dock on October 4-24 and when the ship returns to the fleet guests will find new experiences throughout the ship. The Oceaneer's Club for kids ages 3-12 will be transformed into the Star Wars: Millennium Falcon play area.
This new play area is inspired by the famous spacecraft from the Star Wars films and will feature Star Wars-themed crafts, games, and activities.
On the Dream's Deck 11 guests will find the all-new Vanellope's Sweets & Treats, a sweet shop inspired by the Sugar Rush race from Wreck-It-Ralph. The shop will sell handmade gelato and ice cream, candy, and novelty treats. The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will debut on Deck 5.
In September and October guests on Disney Cruise Line ships will have a chance to celebrate Halloween on the High Seas. This celebration includes Halloween-themed parties, entertainment, and decor including The Pumpkin Tree. Other events include A Nightmare Before Christmas: Sing and Scream, ghost stories under the stars, and more.
Halloween on the High Seas will happen on the Disney Magic's four- and five-night sailings to the Bahamas and Caribbean from October 4-28; on the Disney Wonder's sailings from October 1-23; on the Disney Dream's cruises from September 7-October 30; and the Disney Fantasy from September 5-October 31.
In November guests on the Disney Magic will have a chance to experience the all-new Tangled stage show, Tangled: The Musical.
This show will feature three new songs by Alan Menken and Glenn Slater in addition to elaborate costumes, new set designs, and "groundbreaking puppetry."
The show premieres November 11 in the Walt Disney Theater.
