New Cirque du Soleil Show Inspired By Disney Animation

Over the past two years Cirque du Soleil has been doing extensive research into the world of Disney Animation for this extraordinary collaboration. They dove in and worked closely with legendary Disney animators to understand the process of animation and feel physicality as well as the emotion of it. Their goal was to find out how can animation be eternal, and capture that proverbial genie in the bottle of a show.

The result of that collaboration is a brand new show coming to Disney Springs.
The new show tells the story of how Disney characters are central to the life of a young girl who father is a Disney animator. Like many of us she was raised with these characters and they became a central part of her life. Her father finds a way to send the young girl on a journey of discovery through animation. Animated characters will interact with world famous live Cirque du Soleil performers, in a show set to a fantastical new musical score.

This amazing new show is designed to trigger memories in the hearts of the audience, and blur the lines of reality while tugging at our heartstrings. Previews will begin March 20, 2020, leading up to the world premiere on April 17, 2020.
