Hold onto your seat football fans, last week the NFL and ESPN announced that the annual Pro Bowl (aka the NFL's "All-Star" game) will be coming to Orlando in 2017. While the game itself will be played at Camping World Stadium near downtown Orlando several events leading up to it will be taking place at ESPN's Wide World of Sports Complex at the Walt Disney World Resort. The NFL Pro Bowl game will take place Sunday, January 29, 2017, so mark your calendars accordingly.
Some of the official Pro Bowl activities we can expect to see at Walt Disney World will be designed to celebrate the league's new approach by making Pro Bowl Week about the journey through all levels of football. Guests who want to participate in the festivities will be able to take in Pro Bowl teams' practices, an NFL Flag football event and other youth football events all happening at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex.
Other fun events on the schedule at the moment include a Pro Bowl-themed 5K run, a parade of Pro Bowl players in the Magic Kingdom and Pro Bowl themes decorating the fabulous new Disney Springs shopping, dining, and entertainment complex.
With the Disney touch, the fan experience at the NFL Pro Bowl is sure to be more magical than ever.
