The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival is taking place from September 28-November 12, 2012 at the Walt Disney World Resort. I can't wait to get back down to Disney and experience all the wonderful flavors of the world that this event offers. From the chatter going on over in the Walt Disney world For Grown Ups Forum, many of you can't wait either!
Last week the menus were announced for this year's Marketplace Booths and there are so many wonderful flavors you may need the whole 46 days to sample them all. Old favorites will be back, some of them the same as you remember and some reimagined! There are abundant opportunities to snack and sip your way around the 1.2 mile World Showcase promenade as you visit the Marketplace Booths from around the world. This year the festival features 12 brand new dishes to be sampled, more non-alcoholic drink options, and 2 entirely new booths.
Along side the smash fan favorite Cheddar Cheese Soup, the booth in Canada has added another 'Le Cellier' favorite with it's tapas sized Wild Mushroom Beef Filet Mignon with Truffle Butter Sauce. It will be perfect to go with Mission Hill Family Estate Syrah.
The Desserts & Champagne booth has three spectacular new sweets to try with a Dark Chocolate Mousse highlighted by Chili and Salted Caramel, Lemon Custard Verrine with Blueberry compote, and Yogurt Panna Cotta with Orange Cake, Raspberries and Pomegranate. My mouth is watering just thinking about pairing them with a glass of Moet & Chandon Rose Imperial. But if champagne isn't your style this booth will be home to the brand new Nesquick Frozen Strawberry or Chocolate Foam.
Entirely new this year is the Florida Festival Booth featuring locally produced beer, wine and foods. From the preview I hear the Florida Shrimp Ceviche with Fire Roasted Veggies and Crispy Plantains is really fantastic. Personally, I'm looking forward to trying the Florida Orange Grove Winery's Hurricane Class 5, Florida White Sangria.
Our good friends over at the Disney Food Blog have all the up to date information you need to get the most out of your Food and Wine Festival Trip. Stop by their site for a full listing of the Marketplace Booth Menus and lots of food pictures too! We want to thank them for giving us exclusive use of the images to make your mouth water in this post.
So what's on your Foodie bucket list? Is there something that your most looking forward to tasting while you're at Food and Wine Festival? Leave a message below and let me know!

Me too James! I'm trying to come up with my plan of attack, but after the last two years of F&W I think I may just roam around and hit all the booths with the short lines.
