Adventure Run Through Disney's Animal Kingdom

Expedition Everest Challenge Weekend Runners face fun challenges when they take off for adventure on May 4, 2013 at Disney's Animal Kingdom. This exciting nighttime runDisney event first send runners through an obstacle strewn 5K course, and then on to a scavenger hunt where solving a series of clues will bring them closer to the finish line! Over the years the mother nature has been known to add her own elements of surprise to this exciting and challenging course, so you never know what kismet will bring. Participants are able to compete either individually or in teams of two. Who do you trust to get you through the wilds of Animal Kingdom?

Expedition Everest Challenge Highlights Include:

• 5K Trek with obstacles
• Clues to solve before you reach the summit
• Course through Disney's Animal Kingdom(r) Theme Park at Night

Clues Lead You Towards the Finish Line

All finishers receive their very own, very cool, compass medal! They've also earned the right to party with the Yeti at the Expedition Everest Post-Race Party at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Tickets to the party are included in race registration, and can be purchased separately for friends and family who would like to join you in celebration.

The Coveted Compass Medal

This years challenge event features new fun for younger adventurers (4 and up) who can participate in kids races at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Expedition Everest Family Edition, kicks off with teams of up to six people running a short distance race and then competing in a scavenger hunt throughout the sports complex.
