Each time I travel to Walt Disney World the trip tend to end up having it's own special theme depending on the special event we're attending or maybe even holidays that will occur during the trip. My favorite time to visit is during the fall, and today I've got 5 Magic Kingdom Must-Dos for Halloween time travel to make your trip full of seasonal glee.
Don't just rush down the middle of Main Street, take some time to admire the beautiful seasonal decorations. The buildings and gardens of Main Street USA get festooned with beautiful autumn decorations that like during Christmas are just a little different every year. Disney's Enchanted Florist puts on one of her very best shows in supervising the Autumn display of statues, bunting, garlands, pumpkins and scarecrows. While you're admiring the outside of the shops, don't forget to go inside as well! Spooky treasures and villainous Disney delights can be found throughout the shops.
From the Castle Hub head left on to Adventureland! My favorite of all the Magic Kingdom Lands it's easy to get into the Halloween spirit when you're on an adventure of your own, and the classic Disney attraction is a must do for a swashbuckling good time. Just remember... Dead Men Tell No Tales and this is one boatride full of bone rattling adventure. As you exit the ride don't forget to stop in the shop and fill your treasure chest with booty.
Continue your travels by making your way to Liberty Square for a taste of early American legends and charm. Make a stop to pay your respects to Master Gracey and his dearly departed bride by visiting the Haunted Mansion. Your ghost host has been waiting for you to join him.
In Fantasyland's Storybook Circus be sure to grab a delicious Caramel Apple or Caramel Corn from Big Top Treats. Sweet and sticky these delicious confections are available all year long, but they always have a spot on the must-do list each autumn. Take some time and watch the confectioners assemble these tasty works of art!
Looking for a splurge? Add on a hard ticket to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party for your entire family. This rollick through the Magic Kingdom includes trick-or-treating for all ages, the Boo To You Halloween Parade, and HalloWishes fireworks spectacular. Don't forget to show off your #DisneySide by wearing a costume to the party! It's the only chance adults have to join in on the dress-up fun all year long.
That's it! My 5 Most-Dos for the Magic Kingdom at Halloween Time. Do you have a favorite fall activity at the Magic Kingdom? Leave a comment below and share your seasonal secrets with us!
