We can all tend to get stressed out and frazzled when a plan doesn't go quite the way we thought that it would on vacation, but Walt Disney World provides an environment that goes above and beyond the normal to keep you comfortable and provide an excellent experience. Be sure to take some time and acknowledge the little things that keep bringing you back to Disney again and again. We've got 5 things that you should not take for granted on your Walt Disney World Vacation.
Cleanliness - From super high tech garbage removal systems, and an army of white clad sweepers, to suit clad management, Disney Cast Members work hard to keep the Parks and property free of debris. If you appreciate the lengths these folks go to for you to have a pleasant environment to enjoy be sure to say thank you. When my son went through his "digging" stage my family began to joke that even the dirt is clean at Disney.
Complimentary Transportation - After a couple of non-Disney trips where you're lost and tired in a foreign city and you'll appreciate the Disney boats, buses, and monorail more than ever. Staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel means that you can relax and just leave the driving to them. Not only will it save you money, but grown-ups can indulge in that extra cocktail they would usually skip when driving. Disney Transportation will get you and your loved ones back to the resort safe.
The variety of food - With over 300 dining locations on the Walt Disney World Resort Property you'll never be stuck without great dining options. Not only is there an incredible choice of restaurants featuring flavors from around the globe, but Disney has gone above an beyond when it comes to working with travelers who have special food needs. It doesn't matter if your are a meat and potatoes type, vegetarian, kosher, or if you have complex food allergies; Disney is someplace you'll be able to sit down for a fabulous meal.
Freedom to choose what you'll do - Walt Disney World offers something for just about anyone to enjoy and every day of your vacation you've got the freedom to chose what you'll enjoy the most. You can hit the Theme Parks, spend time relaxing by the pool, or eat at restaurant run by a world famous chef; you've got plenty of choices. You're on vacation, so make the most of it!
Time with the ones you love - I recently read an article that said traveling with family is the number one reason for stress on a family vacation. While that may (or may not) be true for your crew, be sure to take a few minutes each day to reconnect and enjoy the people you're traveling with. Get out of your own head and talk to your traveling companions, find out what they want to do, what they are enjoying, and use the time to bring everyone closer. Chatting it up while in queue also helps pass the time!

One of my greatest joys of Disney World is I get to park my car when we check into our resort and I don't have to crank it again until we check out!

I appreciate the security and safety at Disney World. I never feel the need to be concerned with my surroundings. I can't say the same on a cruise shore excursion. Im very aware when I visit almost everywhere else of people and alleys and even cabbies. There is a comfort in the freedom to move around in the World.
