The 6th Great Irish Hooley Planned for September 1-4 at Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant
The 6th Great Irish Hooley music festival is planned for Labor Day Weekend, September 1-4, at Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant in Disney Springs. The festival features Irish songs, dance, food, and music starting at 3 p.m. on September 1.
U2 tribute band Elevation to perform at Great Irish Hooley
The headliners for this year's Hooley include Elevation, a U2 tribute act playing September 2 and 3; Lisa Canny Band, who will appear for three weeks beginning August 30; and the Gary O'Meara Band.
Other entertainment during the Hooley includes the Raglan Road Irish Dancers, the Raglan Roots Coalition, Jake Richardson, Over the Bar, Rollickin' Rua, and Aaron O'Sullivan. Ciaran Keating (the Raglan Road Irish Dancer's choreographer) will host an event that traces the origins of Irish dance.
